So I know that tuck pointing is involved with masonry work. I just don't what the do specifically. It would be nice to know all that goes into tuck pointing.

Quite often tuckpointing is confused with a struck joint in brickwork. Check out the video on this blog which has a video of some tuckpointing. Its actually done with masking tape in some cases these days. It was done with a rule & a knife in the past.
